PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is a rehabilitation treatment procedure where each person is addressed individually, each patient is treated as a whole and the most efficient possible intervention is chosen. A physiotherapist can be of help with musculoskeletal system pain and limitations, preparing for a surgery and recovering from a surgery, treatment and prevention of sports injuries.

Our main methods:

      • Physiotherapeutic evaluation and testing
      • Physical exercise
      • Extension therapy
      • Manual therapy (soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization and manipulation)
      • Kinesio Taping
      • Work ergonomics and training related consultations
      • Consultations on aid instruments (orthrosis, supporting bandages, supporting belts, arch supports)
      • Drawing a personal exercising plan

Physiotherapist should be consulted in case of the following problems:

        • Backpain
        • Neck pain and headaches
        • Joint pain
        • Stress related pains
        • Muscle tension
        • Posture disorders
        • Traumas
        • Postoperative recovering (recovery of joint movement and muscle strength)
        • Sports injuries
MANUAL THERAPY

Manual therapy is a treatment system enabling to treat vertebral and joint diseases, disorders in muscular system and ligaments as well as neurological and internal diseases. Manual therapist is a physician who identifies blocked vertebral joints, releases them manually and thus releases pain. The physician advises special exercises that will help to prevent stress injuries in supportive and motion apparatus. If necessary, the physician will use additional injection or tablet treatment to eliminate inflammation.

Manual therapist should be consulted in case of the following problems:

    • Backpain
    • Neck pain and headaches
    • Joint pain
    • Stress injuries
    • Sports injuries
    • Traumas
    • Postoperative recovering (recovery of joint movement and muscle strength)
MASSAGE

Massage is the best way to relieve tension. Massage relaxes tired and exhausted muscles after physical effort and is suitable also for relieving mental tension and stress in general by relaxing the nervous system. Massage manipulates soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments) improving metabolism and blood supply of muscles. The choice of massage technique is based on the problem of the client with the purpose to relieve muscle strain, increase muscle tone, enhance metabolism and blood and lymph circulation, relieve pain, etc.

MYOMETRIA

If necessary, the physiotherapist uses the myometric device Myoton to measure muscle strain and elasticity during the appointments.

Myometria assesses the 3 important muscle parameter measuring results of superficial muscles: muscle tension, stiffness and elasticity. Evaluation of these parameters enables to determine the necessity for physical or physiotherapeutic procedures to restore physiological functions of muscles.
